The Web Summit takes place in Parque das Nações,  the most modern part of Lisbon. If you choose public transportation – and we strongly recommend you do so - you can arrive there by subway, train or bus. 

The transport authority has created a special pass for the summit’s attendees. For 25 euros, you can have a pass that allows you to have unlimited trips in the train, subway, bus, trams and elevators network, allover Lisbon. The pass will be active from 5th to 13th of November.

You can also use it to reach Cascais or Sintra – two of the destinations we recommend you in this guide - by train.

The pass can be purchased in two locations:

– Quiosque Web Summit , in Lisbon’s airport;
– MEO Arena | Pavillion 4 of the Web Summit, in Parque das Nações

Also, the automatic vending machines of the subway stations were updated to accept most international credit and debit cards, so it’s expected to be easy to purchase the tickets. Speaking of Metro stations, Lisbon has some of the best public art under the ground. Check the paintings and art instalation of 'Parque', 'Cais do Sodré' or 'Olaias' stations. 

It is possible to arrive at Parque das Nações by car, but beware that there will be more than 50.000 people attending the summit, so parking surely won’t be easy. It's fairly easy to find a taxi on the street or call one via phone or dedicated apps. And, of course, Uber and Cabify are operation at full throttle in Lisbon.
